2 Kings 25:7 – They killed the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes. Then they put out his eyes, bound him with bronze shackles and took him to Babylon. In this study we will look at the tragic nature of Zedekiah’s downfall, where the contradictory nature of the prophecies made regarding him were fulfilled, and also the fulfillment of numerous prophecies made regarding the destruction of the Judah.
Acts 22:16 – And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name. In this study, we will examine the instructions that Paul was given by Ananias upon his conversion.
John 1:5 – The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. In this study, we will look at the ideas of the light and the darkness in the Bible, referring especially to John’s verses.
Psalm 119:105 – Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. In this study we will examine light as an analogy for the word of God and how this light is vital to us.
2 Cor 5:7 – We live by faith, not by sight. In this study we will briefly compare the differences between living by faith and living by sight.
Hebrews 11:1 defines faith for us, and shows us how faith and hope have an intrinsic relationship. Hope that requires faith and results in faith is discussed; while the idea of blind faith is also briefly touched upon.
