Deuteronomy 33:6 – Let Reuben live and not die, nor his people be few. In this study we will look at the tribe of Reuben beginning from the story of Reuben, the firstborn of Jacob, and how important it is to weed out spiritual instability in our lives.
Deuteronomy 6:4 – Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. In this study, we will examine the oneness of God and how this concept is still important to us in modern times.
Joshua 1:8 – Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. In this study we will break down this verse into a simple stream of logic and examine how it can still be applied in our lives today.
Exodus 14:13 – Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. In this study, we will examine the three steps that the Israelites were told to take in the face of immense danger and fear – do not be afraid, stand firm, and witness God’s deliverance.
Numbers 6:24 – The LORD bless you and keep you; In this study, we will examine the very first verse of this 3-verses long Aaron’s prayer of blessing and how it can be applied to our own lives and situations.
Exodus 32:1 – When the people saw that Moses was so long in coming down from the mountain, they gathered around Aaron and said, “Come, make us gods who will go before us. As for this fellow Moses who brought us up out of Egypt, we don’t know what has happened to him.” In this study we will examine the circumstances that surrounded the people that led them to such a heinous act of sin.
Psalm 27:14 – Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. In this study we will examine the virtue of patience when it comes to waiting for the Lord.
Hebrews 11:39 – These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised. In this study we will examine what these men and women of faith were promised and yet did not receive, and how it relates to our faith of today.
Psalm 46:10 – Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. In times of difficulties, when we stay still, we will be able to truly understand that our Lord is God, and have peace and rest in our assurance of His greatness.
Exodus 3:14 – God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.'” One of the first instances in the Bible that God’s name is discussed; and we will look into the attributes of God as revealed by His name.
Psalm 90:4 – For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night. God works on a different time scale than us. He is in no hurry. He can wait. And in comparison to the ‘clock of the heavens’, our lives are short, indeed.
