Galatians 5:15 – If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other. In this study, we will examine the reality of what happens if we bite and devour each other, and how to be able to love one another even if we disagree with each other.
Hebrews 10:25 – not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. In this study we will examine the value of meeting together with other believers, focusing a little on the idea of churchgoing from the perspective of a churchgoer.
1 Peter 4:12 – Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. In this study, we will adopt Peter’s take on suffering and expand it to see why we are surprised when we suffer.
Proverbs 22:6 – Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. In this study we will examine the value of teaching children the right way to go.
Philemon 1:7 – Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the saints. In this study, we will examine how Paul’s great encouragement to Philemon took the form of a few words in a letter.
2 Corinthians 11:28 – Besides everything else, I face daily the pressure of my concern for all the churches. In this study, we will take a curious look at this pressure and compare it to the pressure we would normally face in our daily lives today.
Galatians 6:7 – Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. In this study we will examine the notion of mocking God – and what it really means in the context used by Paul towards the Galatians.
2 Timothy 2:23 – Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. In this study we will examine what are stupid arguments and why we should avoid quarrels.
2 Peter 1:12 – So I will always remind you of these things, even though you know them and are firmly established in the truth you now have. In this study we will examine the importance of reminder in God’s words.
Amos 9:11 – In that day I will restore David’s fallen tent. I will repair its broken places, restore its ruins, and build it as it used to be. In this verse we will examine this prophecy and how it relates to the early church, and how it can apply to us today.
