In this study, we will examine the nature of public prayers, why we should do it, and how we should do it through the case study of Jesus Christ’s own prayer.
Revelation 5:12 – In a loud voice they sang: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!” In this study we will look into the worthiness of the Lamb, considering the significance behind the term ‘Lamb’ and why this ‘Lamb’ is worth all our praise and worship.

Mark 9:24 – Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!” In this study, we will analyse the faith or the lack of faith of the boy’s father and how faith is related to miracles.
Isaiah 43:13 – Yes, and from ancient days I am he. No one can deliver out of my hand. When I act, who can reverse it? In this study we will look into the supremacy of our Lord and what that means for us.
1 Peter 5:8 – Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. In this study, sticking closely to the image of the lion, we will examine the nature of the devil and how crucial it is that we stay alert spiritually against him.
Zechariah 4:6 – he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty. In this study we will look into the role of Zerubbabel and how important it is that it is by the Spirit and not by his own power or the might of his people that he achieved all that he did.
Ephesians 6:10 – Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. In this study we will examine the importance of the strength of God in relation to how we should treat the people around us, and in relation to the armor of God.
Philippians 2:9 – Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, In this study, we will examine some of the reasons why the name of the Son is great.
1 Peter 5:7 – Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. In this study, we will examine what the consequences of God caring for us are and how it relates to our worrying.
James 4:7 – Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. In this study we will examine the direct relationship between submitting to God and resisting the devil, and the qualities that we need to have in order to do so.
