John 3:30 – He must become greater; I must become less. John the Baptist was very clear about his role and his identity as a forerunner for Christ. His humility and his love for the Lord will be examined in this study.
1 Peter 1:13 – Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. In this study we will examine Peter’s history closely as we look at what he commands us to do in this verse.
1 Corinthians 4:16 – Therefore I urge you to imitate me. In today’s study, we will look briefly into the life of Paul and why it was not out of pride that he called for us to imitate him. A study on leadership and role models, and of Paul the apostle.
Mark 12:42 – But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a fraction of a penny. In this study we will examine the circumstances of the widow and the heart behind the act of giving.
Romans 12:15 – Rejoice with those who rejoice, mourn with those who mourn. As Paul urges the Roman Church to love one another, he sets high definitions of the expected love and in this study, we’ll look at how we can empathize for others genuinely as well.
