Isaiah 26:3 – You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. In this study, we will examine the concept of Christian peace, and in the context of this verse, perfect peace, and how it is related to the very fundamental act of trusting in the Lord.
Psalm 27:14 – Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. In this study we will examine the virtue of patience when it comes to waiting for the Lord.
Romans 8:38 – For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers… In this study, we will analyse the individual components of this verse and examine how God’s love for us cannot be halted by anything, because it is simply too great to even be quantified.
Hebrews 11:1 defines faith for us, and shows us how faith and hope have an intrinsic relationship. Hope that requires faith and results in faith is discussed; while the idea of blind faith is also briefly touched upon.
