Romans 13:12 – The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. In this study, we will look for the light at the end of the tunnel of suffering as Christians.
2 Kings 25:7 – They killed the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes. Then they put out his eyes, bound him with bronze shackles and took him to Babylon. In this study we will look at the tragic nature of Zedekiah’s downfall, where the contradictory nature of the prophecies made regarding him were fulfilled, and also the fulfillment of numerous prophecies made regarding the destruction of the Judah.
John 1:5 – The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. In this study, we will look at the ideas of the light and the darkness in the Bible, referring especially to John’s verses.
1 Peter 2:9 – But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. In this study, we will decipher the huge message in this verse bit by bit and consider what these ‘identities’ mean.
Micah 7:8 – Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise.Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light. In this study we will examine how this verse links falling and rising together and how they should never be thought about separately.
Psalm 119:105 – Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. In this study we will examine light as an analogy for the word of God and how this light is vital to us.
