In this study, we will examine the three steps that the Israelites were told to take in the face of immense danger and fear – do not be afraid, stand firm, and witness God’s deliverance.
Esther 4:14 – For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this? In this study, we will examine the role of Mordecai and his unwavering faith in God’s sovereignty and deliverance.
Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. In this study we will side-step the long standing controversies about this well-known verse and instead look at it step by step and examine how this verse itself brings us hope for the future.
Zephaniah 3:17 – The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing. In this study we will examine how important it is to recognise God’s mightiness and how we can then take comfort in his presence.
Psalm 46:10 – Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. In times of difficulties, when we stay still, we will be able to truly understand that our Lord is God, and have peace and rest in our assurance of His greatness.
