Jude 1:24 – To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy. In this study we will examine what it means to stumble and what it means to not stumble.
Luke 1:47 – and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior. In this study, using Mary as a case study, we will be looking into how we can focus on the Lord who brings us true joy even in potentially damaging circumstances.
Luke 18:14 – “I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.” In this study, we will compare these two men, their behaviour and their prayers in order to find out why is it that the tax collector was justified before God, and not the Pharisee.
Psalm 46:10 – Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. In times of difficulties, when we stay still, we will be able to truly understand that our Lord is God, and have peace and rest in our assurance of His greatness.
