1 Timothy 4:15 – Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress. In this study, we will examine this instruction of Paul’s and note how it is important that we strive to excel in the kingdom of God.
3 John 1:9 – I wrote to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves to be first, will not welcome us. In this study we will focus on the very obscure Diotrephes from the very obscure book, and identify the common traits in a church leader that John has condemned as evil – that which we should not imitate.
Ezra 10:4 – Rise up; this matter is in your hands. We will support you, so take courage and do it. In this study, we will examine the words of Shecaniah and identify certain attributes that a leader must have even in modern times.
Matthew 23:15 – Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when you have succeeded, you make them twice as much a child of hell as you are. In this study we will examine the importance of our positions and how it influences others around us.
2 Timothy 2:22 – Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. In this study we will examine what are the evil desires of youth that we should flee from and what are the things we should pursue.
Joshua 1:8 – Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. In this study we will break down this verse into a simple stream of logic and examine how it can still be applied in our lives today.
1 Corinthians 4:16 – Therefore I urge you to imitate me. In today’s study, we will look briefly into the life of Paul and why it was not out of pride that he called for us to imitate him. A study on leadership and role models, and of Paul the apostle.
