Matthew 16:26 – What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? In this study, we will examine these questions in relation to our personal ambitions and career paths.
Hebrews 12:2 – Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. In this study we will reflect on who Jesus was – in our preparation and meditation for Good Friday.
2 Samuel 10:12 – Be of good courage, and let us be courageous for our people, and for the cities of our God, and may the Lord do what seems good to him. In today’s study, we will pay special attention to ‘may the Lord do what seems good to him’ and explore how the concept of risk fits within the lifestyle of Christianity.
