Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said to himself, “My master was too easy on Naaman, this Aramean, by not accepting from him what he brought. As surely as the Lord lives, I will run after him and get something from him.” In this study we will examine this man and how his greed caused him to sin against God, paying severely for taking these matters lightly.

2 Kings 2:3 – The company of the prophets at Bethel came out to Elisha and asked, “Do you know that the LORD is going to take your master from you today?” “Yes, I know,” Elisha replied, “so be quiet.” In this study, we will look at Elisha’s coming out as a prophet and what the knowledge of God taking Elijah away would do for him in the future.
Matthew 15:27 – “Yes it is, Lord,” she said. “Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.” In this study, we will examine the astounding faith of this Canaanite woman, and at the same time, consider why Jesus was so strict with her initially.
