James 1:25 – But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it–not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it–they will be blessed in what they do. In this study we will examine this verse in its entirety and list out the three steps for us to check ourselves against the word.
1 John 4:18 – There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. In this study we will examine the idea of fear being the opposite of love, and how we have no reason to fear if we are able to love.
2 Samuel 22:31 – As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him. In this study, we will examine the divine empowerment of God as expressed in three simple phrases by a reflective King David.
Matthew 5:48 – Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. In this study we will examine what is perfection in the mould of our heavenly Father. In this study, we will examine the perfection that belongs to God, and the perfection that we strive for when we imitate God.
