1 Kings 19:4 – while he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness. He came to a broom bush, sat down under it and prayed that he might die. “I have had enough, Lord,” he said. “Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors.” Elijah the prophet once prayed for God to let him die. In this study, we will look specifically into why God did not take his life away.
John 18:38 – Pilate said to him, “What is truth?” After he had said this, he went back outside to the Jews and told them, “I find no guilt in him. In this study, we will examine the circumstances of Pilate and study his character and conclude that we are no more righteous than he was.
2 Corinthians 11:28 – Besides everything else, I face daily the pressure of my concern for all the churches. In this study, we will take a curious look at this pressure and compare it to the pressure we would normally face in our daily lives today.
