Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said to himself, “My master was too easy on Naaman, this Aramean, by not accepting from him what he brought. As surely as the Lord lives, I will run after him and get something from him.” In this study we will examine this man and how his greed caused him to sin against God, paying severely for taking these matters lightly.
Hebrews 12:14 – Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. In this study, we will explore the idea of peace and holiness being attributes that we need to pursue.
1 Corinthians 1:29 – so that no one may boast before him. In this study, we will look at why Paul claims that no one may boast before the Lord and through our investigation, learn more about the difference between human wisdom and godly wisdom.
2 Timothy 2:22 – Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. In this study we will examine what are the evil desires of youth that we should flee from and what are the things we should pursue.
