1 Timothy 2:6 – who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time. In this study we will examine the term ‘ransom’ and how the gospel of Christ has been testified.
1 Corinthians 10:31 – So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. In this study, through the analogy of eating food that has been offered to idols, we will look at the meaning of glorifying God, and how faith, knowledge and freedom wouldn’t work without love.
Genesis 4:4 – But Abel brought fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. The LORD looked with favor on Abel and his offering. In this study we will examine the case of Abel and Cain from another perspective and find out why God looked with favour on Abel and not Cain.
1 Samuel 15:22 – Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams. In this study, we will examine the obedience that the Lord delights in.
Isaiah 53:5 – But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. It was a prophecy that comforted the people in a time of immense suffering, but today, after the prophecy is fulfilled, we can still look back on this verse and marvel at the Messiah.
