James 2:14 – What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? In this study, we will examine the definition of faith as taught by James and think about justification.
Romans 3:20 – Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin. In this study we will examine the difference between the law of works and the law of faith, and this all-important purpose of the existence of law – it is through law that we become conscious of our sin.
1 Thessalonians 5:24 – The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it. In this study, we’ll look expand on this verse in order to understand this better, and at the same time looking at the value of verses.
Titus 3:5 – He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit. In this study, we will focus on the God’s mercy in granting his salvation, and how the Holy Spirit plays a part in this.
Ephesians 2:10 – For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. In this study we will examine the implications of us being God’s workmanship.
