Matthew 18:6 – “If anyone causes one of these little ones–those who believe in me–to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. In this study, we will examine who the little ones are, and what it means to stumble them.
Proverbs 22:6 – Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. In this study we will examine the value of teaching children the right way to go.
2 Timothy 2:22 – Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. In this study we will examine what are the evil desires of youth that we should flee from and what are the things we should pursue.
1 Kings 3:9 – So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours? In this study, we will examine Solomon’s request and consider why exactly did he ask for wisdom, and whether we should also ask for wisdom.
1 Timothy 4:12 – Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. In this study we will look at how these 5 things work together to help us lead an exemplary life, both to the young and to the older.
Job 32:9 – It is not only the old who are wise, not only the aged who understand what is right. In the study of this verse we will introduce a lesser known character, Elihu, and focus on his stand on youth and wisdom.
