But David found strength in the Lord his God. In this study we will examine the King as a case study of how God is a never-depleting source of strength for us – in good times and in bad.
Proverbs 14:10 – Each heart knows its own bitterness, and no one else can share its joy. In this study we are going to examine what this verse suggests – that nobody will truly understand you, whether in bitterness or in joy.
Ruth 1:21 – I went away full, but the Lord has brought me back empty. Why call me Naomi? The Lord has afflicted me; the Almighty has brought misfortune upon me. In this study, we will examine her sense of bitterness and what God ultimately had in store for her.
