2 Corinthians 4:8 – We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair. In this study, we will focus on the internal, emotional issues that the apostles faced and examine how modern Christians like us today can still find comfort.
Psalm 30:5 – For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favour lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. In this study, we will break the verse up into its four main phrases, and digest the message into encouragement and comfort for those whose are defeated and heartbroken.
3 John 1:15 – Peace be to you. The friends greet you. Greet the friends, each by name. On top of addressing the inconsistency in the numbering of this verse across the versions, we will also look at the value of a personal relationship that the apostles had with their brothers and sisters in Christ.
