1 Kings 2:2 – “I am about to go the way of all the earth,” he said. “So be strong, act like a man. In this study, we will examine the words that David said to Solomon as he was about to die, and understand why it means so much more than it seems at first glance.
1 Samuel 30:6 – David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the Lord his God. In this study we will examine the King as a case study of how God is a never-depleting source of strength for us – in good times and in bad.
1 Corinthians 10:31 – So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. In this study, through the analogy of eating food that has been offered to idols, we will look at the meaning of glorifying God, and how faith, knowledge and freedom wouldn’t work without love.
Ephesians 6:10 – Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. In this study we will examine the importance of the strength of God in relation to how we should treat the people around us, and in relation to the armor of God.
